Analytics on the calendar

Pick what shows under the calendar. They are the same tiles as Analytics, covering the month (or year) you are looking at.

Starting balance

What the account held when you started tracking it. The balance tile adds every trade closed on or after the start date.

Position size

Work out the size before you click. Size is whatever makes your stop cost exactly what you decided to risk — not the other way round.

Paste order from thinkorswim

Copy an order from thinkorswim and paste it below — one per line. Paste the opening and closing fills together and they pair into a completed trade. An opening fill on its own is kept as an open position and nothing is added until you paste its close.

The order text carries no date, so trades are stamped with the date above — change it per trade in the preview if a position was closed on a different day. Commission is charged per contract per side, so a three‑leg spread opened and closed costs six times this figure.

Day

Shorted it? Same fields — put the price you sold at in Sell and the price you bought back at in Buy. Multiplier is 1 for shares, 100 for options, or the point value for futures (NQ 20, MNQ 2, ES 50).

Options structure leave blank for shares and futures
Thesis, risk and psychology

Leave Risk blank and it is worked out from your stop: distance from entry × size × multiplier. That is what turns P&L into R-multiples.
